  1. Derek Ruffles says:

My grandparents Dennis and Emily Ruffles lived in Rushall on the corner of Airstation Lane circa 1914-1924. My grandmother Emily Ruffles was admitted to Hill House, The Pulham Union Workhouse at Pulham Market, Suffolk, from Rushall by order of E H Palmer on Monday 22 January 1923, her first meal there that day being supper. She died there after six days on 28 January 1923 and was buried in St Mary, Rushall Churchyard on 2 February 1923 aged 31.
We have tried without success to find out where in Rushall churchyard she is buried, any help would be appreciated.
Their children Gertrude, May, Dennis (my father) and Nancy all went to the Pulham Workhouse on 28 February 1924
